Conservatorium Hotel @Amsterdam

Beautiful Luxembourg

I know right, Luxembourg is probably not the first city trip you are thinking of at the moment… But I can assure you; everyone who has been tells me they think it is beautiful! I have lived there for 18 years, and when going back for a weekend I still think it’s beautiful, a city covered with small castles and old caves!

Today I had a walk from the Financial quarter down towards the ‘Grund’, which is the oldest part of Luxembourg city and then went back up. Here are some lovely pictures of my autumn walk.

 

In the valley, there is a youth hostel with one of the nicest views of Luxembourg, all this for a great price (20-30€ a night) so what are you waiting for ??

Another must see is the glass building you can see, that is the modern art museum from Luxembourg, namely the Mudam, which lies just in front of the European Parliaments.

European Paradise

There is nothing better right now than dreaming about sunshine and some warmth…  Last summer I went to Corsica for the first time and it was AMAZING! It is nothing like the other Mediterranean beaches or sea sides, it’s more like paradise!

 

I stayed at the Santa Giulia bay, one of the nicest bays you can have in Corsica! Its just below Porto Vecchio and above Bonifacio which are two amazing places in Corsica (on the east coast).

As you can see on the pictures, Santa Giulia’s bay has clear blue water which makes you feel as if you are in paradise… HOW GREAT!

The rough nature makes it a exotic island with a lot of green trees and nice vegetation.

Something you must try when you are in Corsica is eating cactus fruits! They taste quite special but are very good for you! They also help you freshen up and are good for your skin 🙂

Another MUST dish to eat! Is the “Aubergine Farcie“, which is an eggplant dish in the oven filled with very nice ingredients!

Above that, Corsica has its own wines, they are also worth trying, but most importantly for all the cheese lovers…. There is enough Corsican cheese! Made from its own cow milk and goat milk.

Below, Bonifacio, a city that lies on cliffs and you can even see Sardinia from far away, b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l ….. 🙂

 

We had a very nice coastal walk, as you can see it can get quite windy there, so the temperatures are never too high 😉 Love my lion hair haha
